Species: Cromber Group: Reptile Size: 11-12 feet long, 2-3 feet high Habitat: Swamps and lakes throught Aquerus, especially the warmer ones. Diet: Anything that it finds; carnivourus Behavior: Crombers have a habit of spitting pellets out of their mouths that explode on contact and spray searing acid everywhere. They are very agressive creatures, especially the females, which are larger than the males. Their scale-covered hide - black with orange stripes - is not a camoflauge method, but a way of saying "stay away; I'm dangerous." It may not seem like the best tactic, but it keeps away animals that want to eat their chicks and humans trying to shoot them for their hide. Besides, if the Cromber wants a meal, it simply has to wait for an animal to walk through the trees on the edge of the lake and shoot their prey with an acid pellet. Other: Cromber are less active in the war against the humans; more like the last line of defense. They are too big and slow to go unnoticed, and most animals don't trust them anyways.
